The Digital Patient Education Creator. This role is based in our Markham, Ontario offices conveniently located near 15 Allstate Parkway, Unit 320, Markham, Ontario, Canada, L3R 5B4. We are focused on team participation and commit to working a Full-Time schedule in our Markham office.

Digital Patient Education Creator

Who We Need:
The Digital Patient Education Creator is responsible for the development of a comprehensive multimedia education strategy to accomplish the objectives of the Company. From the development of the education objectives to the delivery of fully illustrated and animated multimedia content, the individual will be responsible for achieving plan objectives. The Creator will help us build engaging, informative, and visually compelling digital assets that empower patients and reduce the educational burden on healthcare providers.
What Youll Do:
- Develop a comprehensive patient education strategy along with style guides.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and potentially patients to gather insights, conduct independent research and ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Develop education scripts and compelling multimedia assets including images and animation.
- Translate complex medical information into clear, accessible, and engaging formats for patients and caregivers.
- Work closely with our healthcare clients to make sure we are accomplishing our project objectives.
- Continuously explore and propose innovative design approaches and illustration styles to enhance patient engagement.
- Iterate on content based on feedback from stakeholders and end-users.
What Youll Need:
- Masters degree in Biomedical Communications or relevant work experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in developing patient education or healthcare-related content.
- Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
- Proficiency in multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, animation tools).
- Ability to simplify complex medical concepts for a lay audience.
- Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, or patient advocacy is a plus.
Bonus/Nice to have:
Math Ability - Proficient math skills are required for analyzing and interpreting numerical data, conducting statistical analysis, and measuring quality metrics accurately.
