Construction Services Manager (Pipeline Integrity)

Our Integrity group is currently looking to add a Construction Services Manager to the team, based in Blackfalds, AB.

Reporting to the Senior Operation Manager, MSA, the Construction Services Manager oversees and manages assigned Integrity construction projects from start to finish and is responsible for coordinating all aspects of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, in compliance with safety regulations, and of the highest quality standards. Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills will be instrumental in driving project success and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the project team.

Please note: this position requires significant travel with ~40% of the time spent in the field

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Successful execute projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality and safety standards
  • Develop and implement project plans, including schedule, budget, resource allocation, milestones, and overall project coordination
  • Drive operational performance to maximize revenue growth and operating margins
  • Ensure optimized resource allocation, including equipment, personnel, and subcontractors
  • Lead and manage a team of site supervisor(s), project personnel, and subcontractors
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Mentor and train team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards, ensuring that work meets or exceeds specifications while enforcing quality control procedures and inspection protocols
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders and manage client expectations, ensuring that project deliverables align with contractual obligations and client needs
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and other relevant records are complete, organized, and accessible for future reference or audits
  • Complete monthly Revenue Summary & Revenue Forecasts
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team on a business development strategy aligned with your area of responsibility

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of proven experience with Pipeline Integrity
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered
  • Strong understanding of Construction projects with strong knowledge in Pipeline Integrity projects
  • Proven experience leading / mentoring field resources
  • Experience with MS Office suite

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Post-Secondary education in a related field
