Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Rope Access Technician is responsible for performing critical exterior building maintenance functions on high-rise buildings and other high structures.

Hourly Rate: $25-$30/hour (Based on experience)
Position Type: Contract Basis (Potential 40 hours/week)

Location: Vancouver, BC

Responsibilities:

●Operate at a high angle via approved safe rope access methods
●Conduct structural inspections
●Perform glazing functions, removal and/or replacement of caulking, and other work at height or high-angle tasks
●Conduct exterior window cleaning services
●Lead in the preparation of hazard assessments and job planning to eliminate or mitigate risks
●Manage rope access equipment on site.
●Report to the dispatch manager on a regular basis to receive instructions and provide updates
●Follow all company and legislated health and safety requirements
●Participate in all training as required
●All other duties as assigned

Requirements:
●IRATA or SPRAT level 1, 2 or 3
●Working at Heights/Fall Protection certification
●Strong communication skills
●Ability to work independently and as part of a team
●Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
