Job Title: Temporary CNC Machinist – 5 Axis Mill (1.5-Month Contract)Location: Concord, ON

Duration: June 2 – July 18 (Approximately 1.5 months)
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to temporarily join our team and provide coverage during an absence. This short-term contract position is ideal for a skilled professional with hands-on experience in 5 Axis CNC milling and familiarity with Fusion360 and SolidCAM.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a 5 Axis CNC mill to produce precision components.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and CAD/CAM files.
• Program and modify tool paths using Fusion360 and SolidCAM.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain clean and safe working conditions.
• Assist with light setup of 3 Axis CNC mill operations, as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating and setting up 5 Axis CNC milling machines.
• Proficiency with Fusion360 and SolidCAM software.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Available to work for the full contract period from June 2 to July 18.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3 Axis CNC setups.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, precision manufacturing environment.
