Role: Receptionist / Accounting Clerk

Location: North York

Compensation Package: $40,000+ Benefits + Vacation

Your new role:

Our confidential client is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Receptionist / Accounting Clerk to join their team. As the first point of contact for the organization, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for visitors and ensuring smooth communication across departments. In addition to front desk responsibilities, you will support the accounting team with a variety of administrative and financial tasks.

In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for answering and directing calls, greeting guests, and maintaining a professional front office presence. On the accounting side, you will assist with data entry, invoice processing, journal entries, and document scanning. You'll also help with cheque preparation, inventory receipt validation, and other key accounting functions.

What you will need to succeed:

To thrive in this role, you should have prior experience in a receptionist, front office, or customer-facing role—experience in retail or hospitality is also valued. Strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask are essential. You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and be proactive in resolving issues as they arise. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills will help you succeed in supporting the accounting team.
