Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related Industrial carpentry experience.
- Self-starter with the ability to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Work well independently and with others in a team environment.
- Ability to do shift work as required.
- You must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Candidates will be required to work at heights from ladders, scaffolding, and platforms; stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and climb and work in confined spaces and inclement weather and support extended hours and overtime as business needs dictate.
- Work may be performed indoors and outdoors.
- You will frequently handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
- Own tools and tool pouch
- Erect, dismantle, inspect, and certify various installations.
- Perform care and preservation work.
- Experience with Industrial and Commercial Carpentry scopes is a requirement.
- Provide a safe work environment, maintaining “Safety First” for your team.
- Work according to blueprints.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, steel, and other materials.
- Install windows, doors, feature walls/ceiling, etc.
- Exceptional construction and building code knowledge.
- Commercial metal frame and door construction.
- Precision hardware installation.
- Experience working with power tools/ Knowledge of tools and applications.
- Not afraid of heights.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Capable of identifying concerns and generating solutions.
