ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our Client is a high-end interior design and millwork company focused on premium kitchens, closets, bathroom vanities, and furniture. They are launching their new 5,000 sq. ft. flagship showroom in Vancouver, they are seeking a talented Interior Designer to support design production, client presentations, and sales documentation.
This is an ideal opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented Designer who's passionate about contemporary interiors, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow in the luxury design segment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the development of layout plans and detailed design concepts for kitchens, closets, and bathroom projects.
- Create presentation materials including renderings, mood boards, finish selections, and pricing proposals.
- Support preparation of detailed drawings, cabinetry shop drawings, and technical documentation.
- Learn and work with modular Italian systems and specific partner software platforms.
- Maintain and organize the materials library and assist in curating showroom displays.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and the internal team to ensure accurate design execution.
- Occasionally lead smaller-scale client meetings and design briefs under senior supervision.
- Contribute to showroom event planning and client engagement strategies.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in Interior Design, cabinetry, or millwork—preferably in a showroom or studio environment.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent drafting/rendering tools.
- Experience or interest in kitchen and closet planning and design is a strong asset.
- Experience in cabinetry sales is a strong asset.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and file management.
- Confident communication style with a professional and polished demeanor.
- Team player with a proactive, self-motivated attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic studio setting.
- Base salary of $50,000–$60,000, depending on experience.
