We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Building Manager (or couple) to oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and tenant relations for a residential property. This role is responsible for ensuring suites are rent-ready, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and managing vendor services. You'll serve as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and ensuring rental compliance. Additional responsibilities include managing security protocols, emergency response plans, and rent collection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee building maintenance, suite turnovers, and inspections
- Maintain positive tenant relations and ensure rental compliance
- Manage building access, security systems, and emergency preparedness
- Coordinate vendor services and ensure quality performance
- Handle rent collection, arrears follow-up, and legal notices
- 2+ years of experience in residential property management.
- Strong knowledge of building operations, tenant services, and emergency procedures.
- Familiarity with the Residential Tenancies Act (Alberta).
- Experience using Yardi Voyager and Yardi Mobile Maintenance is an asset.
