About the Role
We're looking for a Sales Engineer — a hybrid technical and client-facing leader — to help us design, deliver, and evolve solutions that protect Canadians from fraud and abuse.
This is a unique role at the intersection of technology, strategy, and trusted relationships. You'll work directly with clients, prospects, partners, and internal teams to understand challenges, design solutions, and bring the voice of the customer back into our product and strategy decisions.
You will zoom in to technical detail and zoom out to systems thinking. You'll thrive in client conversations — leading solution design, demos, architecture discussions — and internally, shaping strategy, documenting patterns, and helping us scale impact.
More than anything, you are mission-driven: passionate about protecting people, fighting fraud, and building trustworthy digital ecosystems.
What You'll Do
Be a Trusted Technical Advisor
- Join client and partner conversations as the technical voice of our solutions — from early discovery to deep solutioning.
- Lead architecture and integration discussions with client technical teams.
- Design and present tailored solutions that align client needs with our capabilities.
- Develop clear, compelling demos and proof-of-concept solutions.
Bridge Clients and Product Strategy
- Capture client feedback, market insights, and emerging fraud trends — and translate them into actionable input for Product & Engineering.
- Help shape roadmap decisions through a deep understanding of client pain points and industry trends.
- Identify new solution opportunities and influence our overall solution strategy.
- Manage multiple tasks in parallel with strong priority management skills, capable of juggling several (often urgent) files at once.
- Support Sales with partner related deliverables for National accounts
Create Scalable Artifacts
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, solution overviews, integration guides, and client-facing materials.
- Build reusable solution patterns, playbooks, and best practices for internal and external use.
- Serve as a thought leader and ambassador in the fraud, identity, and security space — shaping conversations through conferences, panels, hackathons and community-led initiatives that align with our mission.
What You Bring
- Strong technical acumen — comfortable discussing AI/ML models, APIs, data flows, solution architecture, and integration design.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, from executives to engineers.
- Systems thinker — able to connect dots across technology, business strategy, fraud trends, and user experience.
- Client-first mindset — you love building trusted relationships and helping clients succeed.
- Curiosity and fast learning — especially around fraud, identity verification, risk signals, and AI/ML-powered solutions.
- Experience working in fraud prevention, identity verification, trust & safety, cybersecurity, or risk domains is a strong plus — but passion and learning agility matter most.
- Ability to create clear, compelling technical documentation and presentations.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where ownership and adaptability are key.
Bonus Points
- Experience with fraud prevention systems, identity verification, trust & safety tooling, or security architecture.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their applications in fraud/risk domains.
- Experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, product management, or technical consulting roles.
Why Join Us?
- Meaningful mission — directly contribute to protecting Canadians from fraud, scams, and abuse.
- Strategic impact — shape not just client solutions but the future of our products and platform.
- Collaborative, values-driven culture — we care deeply about trust, integrity, and impact.
- Opportunity to grow — in responsibility, expertise, and influence.
