A Top Regional Law Firm in Toronto is seeking an experienced Labour & Employment Lawyer with 3+ years' of experience post-call. Working on a team of nine lawyers, this role will focus on Management side litigation work. Develop a vision for yourself, make a difference and get on a clearly defined path to partnership.
About the ClientOur client, in the heart of Toronto accessible by transit, is one of the most recognizable law firms in Ontario that is consistently recognized by Super Lawyers Canada. This is a large firm offering challenging and interesting work within a relaxed environment.
About the OpportunityHaving 3+ years' of law experience, you will join a team that likes working collaboratively in an office environment but still allows for hybrid opportunities. The group has a solid support team with a ratio of 2:1, allowing for dedicated assistance on files. The successful candidate will be driven to hit big results and drive for next-level targets to grow their career.

Responsibilities:You will be mentored, and support more senior lawyers with a range of duties that include, but are not limited to:

• Litigation practice with a focus on the management side.
• Percentage could vary between Employment and Labour work.
• Advocate before boards and tribunals.
• Deal with human rights applications and wrongful dismissal claims.

Qualifications:

• Must have minimum 3+ years post call experience with L&E.
• Completion of a law degree from a Canadian university; and a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• Strong drafting, research, writing and analytical abilities.
• Impeccable client management skills, and ability to work well under pressure.
