Position Summary
We are seeking a confident, articulate, and motivated associate lawyer with at least 1 year of experience in family law, criminal law, civil litigation, or real estate. This is an exceptional opportunity for a rising legal talent looking to deepen their litigation skills while benefiting from one-on-one mentorship in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of files across litigation and real estate matters
- Prepare clients for court, negotiations, and other legal proceedings
- Appear in court (in-person or via Zoom), mediations, and tribunals as required
- Draft pleadings, settlement proposals, affidavits, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and case law analysis
- Review and assess facts, evidence, and legal strategies
- Negotiate and resolve claims and disputes
- Maintain strong communication with clients, counsel, and the court

Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (L1 license)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in litigation or transactional practice
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in Arabic or other languages is a strong asset
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Commitment to client service and professional integrity
- Open to learning across different practice areas and implementing feedback

- Experience negotiating settlements
- Notary public designation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with family, civil, or real estate court procedure
