As a Food Distribution Driver at our company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food products to our valued customers. Your responsible driving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to the overall success of our distribution operations. Responsibilities:

• Delivery Operations: Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver food products to designated customer locations, following assigned routes and schedules.

• Order Verification: Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure proper handling and storage of food products during transportation to maintain quality and freshness.

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers during delivery, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records, including signed delivery receipts, invoices, and any required documentation, and submit them in a timely manner.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others on the road.

• Inventory Management: Collaborate with warehouse and organization teams to assist in loading and unloading products, as well as conducting periodic inventory checks and reporting any discrepancies.

• Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and other team members to provide updates on delivery status and address any operational issues.

• Adherence to Food Safety Standards: Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations during transportation, including proper temperature control and handling procedures.

• Professional Development: Stay updated on industry regulations, driver training, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement and safe driving practices.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the food distribution industry.

· Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations, as well as safe driving practices.

• Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and navigate efficiently using GPS or other navigation tools.

· Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.

· Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy packages as required.

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines and best practices is a plus.
