The Opportunity Healthera is seeking a dynamic commercial leader to drive our Canadian market expansion through strategic sales, customer success, and partnership development. This is an exceptional opportunity to build and scale our commercial operations with the backing of an established international success story.

About Healthera Founded in 2015 by a Canadian entrepreneur while he was studying in the UK, Healthera has revolutionized the pharmacy experience for over 1,700 pharmacies across the UK. We've developed a digital health platform that seamlessly connects pharmacies with patients, streamlining prescriptions, enabling online ordering, and enhancing healthcare services.

After our successful UK growth, we've begun our Canadian expansion in partnership with some of the country's largest pharmacy chains. We're now looking for a results-driven commercial leader to accelerate this growth and establish Healthera as the market leader in Canadian digital pharmacy solutions.

Your Impact As Commercial Director, you'll have full commercial responsibility and the autonomy to build Healthera Canada's revenue engine from the ground up. You'll:

Drive Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on pharmacy acquisition
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to independent pharmacies and chains
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure
  • Execute on ambitious revenue targets working closely with strategic partners like McKesson
  • Create and refine sales playbooks for different customer segments

Lead Customer Success & Onboarding

  • Design and implement seamless onboarding processes for new pharmacy partners
  • Build customer success frameworks to ensure high adoption and satisfaction rates
  • Establish support systems and training programs for pharmacy staff
  • Drive customer retention through proactive engagement and value demonstration
  • Create feedback loops to continuously improve the customer experience

Develop Strategic Partnerships & Marketing

  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with pharmacy chains, distributors, and healthcare organizations
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies for new features and services
  • Create co-marketing programs with pharmacy partners to drive patient adoption
  • Represent Healthera at industry events and build brand awareness in the Canadian market
  • Work with our Canada Product Lead to translate market insights into product improvements

Collaborate Globally

  • Work directly with our CEO and UK leadership team to align commercial strategies
  • Partner with our global team to leverage best practices and successful approaches
  • Represent the Canadian market's unique needs and commercial opportunities

About You You're an ambitious commercial leader with:

  • 5-8 years of experience in sales, customer success, or business development roles
  • Strong experience in healthcare technology, pharmacy services, or pharmaceutical industry - this is essential
  • Track record of building and scaling commercial teams in high-growth environments
  • Proven ability to manage complex B2B sales cycles and build lasting customer relationships
  • Experience in customer onboarding and success management
  • Strong partnership development and marketing collaboration skills
  • Deep understanding of healthcare regulations and pharmacy operations in Canada
  • Exceptional communication abilities across all levels of stakeholders
  • Proven project management capabilities
  • University degree

Location & Travel

  • Based in Greater Toronto Area with flexible remote options
  • Travel to the UK headquarters twice annually
