We are looking for a contract based Identity and Access Management (IAM) Consultant to lead and support the implementation of identity lifecycle processes, including onboarding and offboarding automation.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft IAM tools, integration with Active Directory, and workflow automation using Power Platform tools.
Duration: 6 months to start
Location: mainly remote, occasional Toronto office visit
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement identity lifecycle processes, including onboarding, role changes, and off-boarding.
- Integrate Workday with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD to enable automated identity provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Develop and maintain automation workflows using Power Automate and related Microsoft 365 tools.
- Collaborate with HR, Security, and IT teams to ensure IAM processes align with organizational policies.
- Troubleshoot identity synchronization issues and support ongoing enhancements to IAM workflows.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and support procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Identity and Access Management solutions (Azure AD, AD Connect, Entra ID).
- Proven experience integrating Workday with Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Strong proficiency in Power Automate (Flows) and Microsoft 365 workflow tools.
- Experience implementing and supporting onboarding and offboarding automation solutions.
- Familiarity with identity governance, role-based access control, and least privilege models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications in Identity & Access or Security (e.g., SC-300).
- Experience with other HRIS systems and their integration with IAM platforms.
- Understanding of security and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
