Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a warehouse-based operation. The position involves intensive and high-volume data entry, combined with routine manual handling of storage cartons containing medical records.
This role is seated approximately 95% of the time, but requires physical movement every 5–7 minutes to lift and carry storage cartons weighing 30–50 lbs over distances of up to 20 feet.
Your main responsibility will be retrieving individual files from cartons, identifying specific data points, and entering that information into a secure database with a high level of speed and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a consistent keying speed of 10,000 KPH with 100% accuracy, verified by double-key validation.
Retrieve, handle, and return individual medical files from storage boxes.
Carry one carton (30–50 lbs) between pallet and workstation every 5–7 minutes, covering up to 20 feet.
Perform frequent lifting and lowering of cartons from pallets to workstations, with lift ranges from 13" to 45".
Ensure files are reviewed, entered, and returned to their original order within each box.
Keep workspace organized and ensure proper handling of confidential records.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Seated Work: 95% of work is performed seated at a computer station.
Carton Movement: 5% involves lifting, carrying, and repositioning cartons.
Warehouse Conditions: Ambient temperature averages around 10°ree;C—dress warmly.
Protective Footwear: Steel-toe safety shoes meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistance rating of “Better” or “Best” are required.
Dress Code: Attire must be presentable and appropriate for a warehouse office environment.
