About the Role:
The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of Stonehenge Therapeutic Community. As the leader of our finance team, this role has oversight over financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting as well as making recommendations for changes to procedures and other financial control functions.

Qualifications:
- University Degree in Business or Finance or equivalent
- Accounting Designation an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, including Leadership responsibilities
- Experience in a not-for-profit organization an asset
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Spreadsheet applications
- Lived experience related to addictions and/or mental health an asset
- CSC Clearance conducted by PWGS Canada
- Ability to work onsite as required
- May require evening and/or weekend work may be required
- On call work may be required

Leadership Responsibilities:
- Mentorship and Supervision:
- Lead, support, and manage the work of the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Conduct performance reviews
- Actively participate as a member of the Leadership Team
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management and develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization's mission and goals
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization's long-term financial stability
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate financial information effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Build fluency within Stonehenge teams of our financial resources.
- Present contextualized analysis for funders, donors, board members, and regulatory bodies
- Financial Oversight:
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Relationship Management:
- Liaise with Funders, Accounting Firm and/or Banks to support Agency needs
- Lead annual Audit
Financial Systems Oversight, Reporting and Record Maintenance:
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
- Assess and monitor appropriate internal controls, and refine as needed
- Financial Reporting:
- Oversee reporting to funders, including but not limited to Ontario Health, Correctional Services Canada, Ministry of the Solicitor General, Prepare and monitor Budgets Prepare financial statements for review by banks, financial institutions, and partners
- Complete reconciliations monthly and yearly
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify process issues and implement solutions
