The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
- Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources or Labour Relations is required. A post-secondary degree in Human Resources is considered an asset.
- Formal workplace investigations and disability management training is considered an asset.
- Completion of or working towards completion of CPHR designation. RPR and CTMP designations are considered assets.
- A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience working in a human resources environment including strategic talent management and labour relations experience with the ability to provide advice to all levels of the organization.
- The ability to interpret and advise on HR applicable legislation and collective agreements.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, multi-task efficiently and handle information in a sensitive manner is required.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office suite and the ability to navigate various HR software for applicant tracking, learning management and employee records.
- Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license and ability to provide a satisfactory driver's abstract.
A starting annual salary of $90,500 to $97,900, based on a 35-hour work week and option to join the Earned Day Off Program.
