In 1949 they acquired the four-year-old Vancouver branch of an American-based company. From this modest beginning, the Company now has a Head Office in Burnaby, Eighteen Branches, and Four Distribution Centers spread across Western Canada. The Opportunity:
Scope of the position
Assist with Credit and AR administration and management, including collecting money owed on customer accounts, administering new account applications, cash application, credit card reconciliation and customer account inquiries. There will be other duties as required or assigned including report preparation, filing, assisting other administration staff and management as required or assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Credit applications processing and management of customer files.
- Daily posting of customer payments.
- Reconciliation of branch cash and credit card payments.
- Reply to customer account and invoice inquiries.
- Credit and collections administration and management.
- Consult with the sales team to get the information needed to facilitate the sales and collection processes.
- Credit/AR month-end duties.
- Work with accounting personnel as required for bank reconciliation and AR issues.
- Assist the Accounting and the Accounts Payable departments when needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Canadian experience working in a credit and/or accounts receivable department of a medium to large-sized company.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Customer service experience.

What we offer:
The target salary range for this position is $54,000 to 58,000 CAD. The pay range for this position is a general guideline only. The salary will depend on internal pay equity and the candidate's relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and job market data.
