SENIOR SERVER SPECIALIST

Our Edmonton based client is looking for Senior Server Specialist with Cyber Security experience to join their team.

EXPERIENCE:

• Cybersecurity frameworks, threat detection and mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of data centers and associated server support
• Familiarity with storage and network technologies
• MS Azure infrastructure services
• VMware and HyperV for both Server and Desktop Virtualization
• Design and implementation of disaster recovery with cloud infrastructure
• Migrating on-prem infrastructure to a cloud Hybrid DR environment
• Administrating various Red Hat and Ubuntu based Linux Distributions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or Diploma in Information Systems
• 5+ years of experience supporting servers and related infrastructure in cloud and on-premise environments
• Microsoft Windows Server (2016 / 2019/ 2022 / 2025)
• Automation tools (Azure Automation or Ansible)
• MCSA/MCSE certification are an asset
• Red Hat and/or other Linux certifications are an asset

3 month contract to start (high possibility of extensions)

Rate: $70 to $80/hour for an Incorporated consultant

Hybrid work model: 3 days/week in office (Tues.-Thurs.)
