Position: AWS Data Solutions Architect
Location: Toronto, ON - 2 days onsite and 3 days remote
Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extensions and conversion to full time.

Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for an experienced AWS Data Solutions Architect to join our banking clients team leading lead the provisioning and optimization of AWS services for a large SaaS to AWS transformation project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS architecture, cost management, and creating POCs. It will be important for this individual to be hands-on and collaborating with team to be involved in pilot testing, analysis, solution fit, actual implementation, and communicating the complexity and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Provision AWS services and determine the best scalable and cost effective storage options.
- Optimize storage access and cost impact on AWS web services.
- Conduct POCs and pilot ideas to validate and test concepts at large scale.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure solution fit and scalability.
- Implement security and IAM protocols across the architecture that will be important for security, defining personas, and access to environment.
- Support the deployment of ML models and data solutions.
Required Skills:
- 8-10+ years of experience as a data solutions architect in large enterprise banking environments, driving large AWS initiatives that are cost-effective and scalable.
- 8+ years of experience with AWS services and architecture and a proven track record of driving scalable and cost-efficient data solutions.
- Hands-on experience creating proof of concepts and pilot testing.
- Ability to articulate complex solutions and scalability and present findings to stakeholders.
- Excellent knowledge of security and IAM protocols specifically with IAM Roles & Policies, Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPS), and AWS Key Management Service (KMS)
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills and able to thrive in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).
