Internship – Equity Research & Investment Analysis (Unpaid)

We're currently sourcing a small group of Canadian/US-based students & graduates for an unpaid, high-autonomy internship with a boutique investment firm, Trdle Capital, managing ~$100K in active capital. The fund employs a fundamental, catalyst-driven investment strategy, primarily through public equities and derivatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on public companies across different sectors
- Assist in generating trade and investment ideas in collaboration with the portfolio lead
- Develop and present investment theses in a structured stock pitch format
- Build and maintain valuation models (DCF, comps, etc.)
- Track earnings, news, and relevant market catalysts
Ideal candidate:
- Comfortable with ambiguity and independent research
- Strong foundation in finance, accounting, or economics
- Bonus: Prior exposure to investment clubs, competitions, internships
This is a hands-on role—not a learning simulation. You'll be expected to form real opinions and back them up with research that could be acted on.
