A leading retirement home in Southern Ontario, located in the Halton Region is seeking a General Manager. This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in operations and hospitality.

The General Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations, team leadership, financial performance, and service quality across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure performance standards, occupancy goals, and service benchmarks are consistently met
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets; monitor financial performance and cost control
• Implement internal policies, systems, and procedures to support smooth, efficient operations
• Maintain strong client relations and proactively address concerns and service feedback

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in hospitality or healthcare operations
• Strong operational and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and multi-department teams
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build trust and accountability across teams
• Highly organized and solutions-oriented, able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage occasional weekend or extended hours as needed
