Role Overview
We are looking for two experienced Cloud Engineers to join a high-performing team focused on building and optimizing cloud-native data and analytics platforms. These roles will play a key part in designing, deploying, and managing scalable solutions using Azure services, Databricks, and Kubernetes, with a strong emphasis on automation and data governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and data pipelines using Azure services.
- Develop and maintain scalable data solutions using Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog.
- Build and orchestrate data workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code in Python for automation, data processing, and integration tasks.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Implement security, monitoring, and governance best practices across cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and application deployments.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including core services and networking.
- Proficiency in Azure Databricks, including cluster management, notebook development, and Delta Lake.
- Experience with Unity Catalog for data governance and access control.
- Solid understanding of Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT pipeline development.
- Experience deploying and managing workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong programming skills in Python, especially for scripting, automation, and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer).
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Terraform, Helm).
- Knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
