Are you a Software Developer with a passion for enterprise-scale systems, data integration, and public sector innovation? We're working with a leading digital consultancy to hire a skilled developer to support a multi-year transformation project within a major government department.
This is your chance to join a highly skilled team delivering advanced system integrations and working on one of the largest Oracle Siebel environments in the public sector space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable solutions within a complex enterprise CRM platform (Oracle Siebel).
- Build and integrate SOAP and REST web services to connect with internal and external systems.
- Work on data migration and transformation (EIM, file attachments, metadata).
- Support and enhance existing modules including UI components, scripts, and automated workflows.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive resolution with a focus on performance and stability.
- Collaborate with architects, testers, and business users to ensure effective delivery.
- Ensure solutions meet accessibility (AODA/WCAG) and cross-platform compatibility standards.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing with internal teams.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience developing in enterprise CRM or ERP systems (ideally Siebel or similar).
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and REST/SOAP web services.
- Understanding of data structures, system integration, and API design.
- Experience with tools like BI Publisher, Oracle Service Cloud, Bootstrap, Git, JIRA.
- Previous exposure to agile environments and working with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Siebel Open UI, Smart Scripts, or Task UI is a strong advantage.
- Bonus: Knowledge of public sector systems or experience working with secure, high-availability platforms.
