Site Superintendent

Location: Greater Vancouver Area (site locations may vary) Employment

Type: Full-time, Site-Based

Salary: 130,000 - 170,000 plus potential profit share bonus Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead the on-site delivery of commercial high-rise and mixed-use construction projects across the Greater Vancouver area. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, proven high-rise experience, and the ability to manage complex construction sites from start to finish. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, highly organized, and excels at coordinating teams, subcontractors, and inspections to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Must Haves

  • Minimum 10 years of construction supervision experience with a general contractor
  • Proven experience delivering start-to-finish high-rise, commercial or mixed-use projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage safety, project execution, cost control, quality, and admin
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working on projects valued over $50 million
  • Familiarity with COR standards and practices
  • Trade background with progressive field experience in general contracting
  • Prior exposure to managing projects under tight urban site constraints
  • Hi-rise / tower experience in the Greater Vancouver construction market

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day execution of on-site construction activities
  • Monitor and control project schedule, momentum, labour, and material usage
  • Ensure safety standards are upheld and proactively resolve potential hazards
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and resolve any scope or performance discrepancies
  • Review and maintain site documentation including daily reports, drawings, and POs
  • Enforce quality control practices and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure successful third-party inspections
  • Manage site productivity by ensuring timely delivery of materials and manpower
  • Communicate consistently with project teams and stakeholders to flag issues early
  • Lead site meetings, schedule updates, and project reporting efforts
