Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Treatment Coordinator to join our dedicated dental team. This onsite role is critical in ensuring our patients receive exceptional service and a seamless treatment journey from consultation through completion. The ideal candidate will bring strong dental knowledge, organizational skills, and excellent communication to educate patients and facilitate treatment acceptance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans and financial options.
- Review and explain treatment plans in detail, ensuring patients understand procedures, timelines, and costs.
- Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely communication of treatment needs.
- Coordinate and schedule treatment appointments efficiently.
- Assist patients with insurance questions and help navigate payment options.
- Follow up with patients to answer questions, provide additional information, and encourage treatment plan acceptance.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records with complete and accurate documentation.
- Support the front desk and administrative staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of dental experience in a clinical or administrative role.
- At least 2 years of experience specifically in treatment coordination.
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance billing practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional, friendly demeanor with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar).
- Must be able to work onsite during regular business hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of dental financing options (e.g., CareCredit, LendingClub).
- Bilingual a plus.
