Role name: Analyst
Role Description: The Disaster Recovery Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organizations disaster recovery and business continuity plans. This role involves identifying potential risks, creating strategies to mitigate those risks, and ensuring the organization can quickly recover from any disruption to its IT systems and operations. The Disaster Recovery Analyst works closely with IT teams and business units to ensure that critical systems and data are protected and that recovery plans are effective and regularly tested.
Essential Skills: A strong understanding of disaster recovery principles, practices, and tools is essential, along with experience in risk assessment, business impact analysis, and the development of recovery strategies.Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience in disaster recovery planning or a related field, and familiarity with disaster recovery tools and technologies is a plus.Customer service experience.Strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business awareness.Must be willing to work beyond normal hours of operation.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and with the written word.
Desirable Skills: Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, weekends.
