Role- Lead ECM Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Lead ECM Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems, backend development, and cloud-native architectures. You will lead the design and development of scalable content services and integrations across enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and develop robust ECM solutions and content services APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Implement core ECM functionalities: content storage, retrieval, versioning, access control, metadata management, transformation, streaming, and auditing.
- Integrate ECM systems with enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, and other inbound/outbound systems.
- Lead the development of multi-tenant, containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure robust error handling, logging, and monitoring using tools like Kafka and ELK.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in ECM products, content services, and backend technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
- Proven experience building and deploying content services on AWS.
- Deep understanding of ECM architecture and implementation.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and storage solutions like S3, EFSS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with COTS ECM tools like Hyland Alfresco, IBM FileNet, OpenText ECM, Documentum is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multi-tenant architectures at the application or container level.
- Knowledge of workflow integrations, retention policies, and content insights.
- Familiarity with security best practices in content management systems.
