Now Hiring: High-Rise Tower Superintendent (Red Seal Plumber)

Next Step Recruitment is partnering with a respected mechanical contractor to find an exceptional Superintendent with direct experience overseeing high-rise tower builds (ideally 2–3 projects completed from start to finish). This is a confidential search—and an opportunity to lead impactful work with a company that values leadership, modern practices, and the empowerment of its site teams.
If you're ready to move beyond smaller projects or outdated management styles, this role offers a chance to deliver major tower projects across the Lower Mainland. You'll join a team that values collaboration, utilizes modern field systems, and prioritizes your leadership on-site.
What you'll do:
Lead daily site operations, supervising Foremen, Journeypersons, and Apprentices
Oversee the installation of mechanical systems, including hydronic heating and cooling, for high-rise towers
Manage project schedules, labour planning, and quality assurance processes
Collaborate with GCs, sub-trades, and design teams to ensure progress and high standards on each tower project
What we're looking for:
10–15 years of construction site leadership experience, including at least one complete high-rise tower project from start to finish (ideally 2–3 towers)
Red Seal Certification in Plumbing (required); HVAC Red Seal is an asset
Proven ability to lead site teams and drive complex mechanical installs
Familiarity with SiteDocs, OpenSpace, or similar field management tools
A valid driver's license and a strong understanding of WorkSafe BC standards
This role is a great fit for an experienced Superintendent who has completed at least one tower project or a senior Foreman ready to step confidently into a leadership role overseeing high-rise towers. The culture emphasizes mentorship, teamwork, and modern site practices—not old-school hierarchy.
