Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven and motivated Sales Representative to drive business growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. This role focuses on selling our products to restaurants, butcher shops, supermarkets, and caterers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall sales strategy. The ideal candidate has proven experience in B2B sales within Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Acquisition:
- Identify and acquire new business clients, including restaurants, butcher shops, supermarkets, and catering businesses.
- Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and expand market reach.
- Present and promote products to potential clients, effectively communicating value propositions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
Account Management & Customer Relations:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer experience.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high service standards.
Sales Operations & Order Management:
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
- Assist sales representatives with order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and customer service workflows.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely payment collection when necessary.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Gather feedback from clients on market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Provide insights and recommendations to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
- Work closely with the VP of Sales to develop action plans to increase revenue and market share.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the food distribution or related industry.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Canadian sales experience in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to generate leads, close deals, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Proficiency in Zoho CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle for client visits and travel within the GTA/Milton area.
