Were hiring a versatile Senior Accountant in Canada who can run our books from end to end. This is a high-ownership role for someone who knows SaaS accounting and can operate independently with precision and initiative.

Your Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle accounting: GL, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and close
• Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition and SaaS financial reporting
• Generate and analyze monthly financial statements
• Ensure tax compliance and audit readiness
• Implement tools and systems that scale with our growth
• Collaborate directly with the CEO on reporting and strategic finance
• Supporting fundraising efforts, including preparation of financial models, investor materials, and participation in due diligence processes

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ in B2B SaaS
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, SaaS metrics, and revenue cycles
• Familiar with tools like QuickBooks, Stripe, Bill.com, and Gusto
• Autonomous, entrepreneurial, and systems-oriented
• Demonstrated involvement in fundraising activities, such as financial modeling, preparing investor decks, and managing due diligence documentation in collaboration with executive leadership
• CPA (Canada) preferred or equivalent experience
