Core Responsibilities:

Plant Layout Design:

• Develop and refine layouts for the plant, particularly for powertrain-related operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize departmental layouts.

Machine Installation Support:

• Be physically present on the plant floor to support machine installations.
• Answer installer questions and ensure layout plans are followed.

Drawing Creation & Review:

• Create and issue installation drawings.
• Review and approve machine drawings submitted by vendors to ensure they align with plant standards and layout requirements.

Technical Skills Required:

Autodesk Tools:

• AutoCAD (layout creation)
• Vault (design data management)
• ACC or BIM360 (cloud collaboration)

Microsoft Office Suite:

• Word, Excel, PowerPoint (documentation and reporting)

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve layout-related issues.
• Participate in and lead meetings to align layout plans with project goals.
• Coordinate with vendors, installers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of layout and installation plans.
