Position Overview:

The Operations Leader will oversee the execution of electrical engineering projects from inception through completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, timelines, and budgets. This role combines project management responsibilities with operational leadership to drive efficiency and maintain high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations, implementing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across projects.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering staff to provide guidance and support, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards and regulations, delivering high-quality results.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational performance.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering project management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
