Job Description

As part of our mission, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GMP Manufacturing Operator to join our team and contribute to the manufacturing of GMP cosmetics products.

Job Overview: As a GMP Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for performing manufacturing operations and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) during the production of cosmetics products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute production processes, conduct quality control testing, and maintain accurate documentation. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements will be critical to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute GMP manufacturing processes for the production of cosmetics products, following established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare equipment, materials, and supplies required for manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct batch manufacturing, including weighing, measuring, mixing, blending, filling and packaging of cosmetics products.
  • Perform in-process testing and quality control analysis of manufactured products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Accurately document all manufacturing and quality control activities in batch records, logbooks, and electronic systems.
  • Support equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance activities to ensure equipment readiness and accuracy.
  • Assist in the investigation of deviations, non-conformances, and CAPA activities related to manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process optimization opportunities.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized manufacturing environment.
  • Stay updated with current GMP guidelines, industry practices, and technological advancements relevant to cosmetics manufacturing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, preferably involved in cosmetics or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements applicable to cosmetics manufacturing.
  • Proficient in executing manufacturing processes, including weighing, measuring, mixing, and packaging of products.
  • Experience with quality control testing techniques and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with documentation practices, including batch records, logbooks, and electronic systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, record-keeping, and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and quality control issues.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey information and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in nutraceutical manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of process validation and equipment qualification principles.
  • Familiarity with FDA and Health Canada and other regulatory inspections.
  • Certification or training in GMP principles or related fields.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience.
