Position: Marine Electrician

Intrepid Marine Solutions is currently looking for experienced marine electricians for a full-time, permanent position at a new age marine servicing company.

Journeyman Salary: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour based on experience & credentials

Intrepid Marine Solutions is a mobile marine service company offering high quality electrical & mechanical installations as well as service/repair for your vessel.

  • Exemplary customer service. Working on site at our client's location frequently means interacting with them face-to-face. Our team members enjoy educating clients, demonstrating their equipment, going on sea trials, and learning about each client's unique needs.
  • Driver's license and clean driver's abstract as it relates to work. Part of mobile service means being on the road, and all staff are expected to operate company vehicles safely, and adhere to all safety laws in BC.

Experience & skills

  • Ability to diagnose faults and repair electrical equipment.
  • Ability to work with the most current equipment and software.
  • Experience with 120/240VAC electrical systems.
  • Experience with 12/24VDC electrical systems.
  • Experience with marine navigation systems.
  • Experience with any of the following is considered an asset:
  • HVAC, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
  • AC & DC generators, 4-100kW.
  • Solar charging systems
  • Marine security and monitoring systems
  • Watermakers (desalination machines)
  • Satellite communication and television systems
  • NMEA 2000 communication standard
  • Automated (PLC) controls
