Your new company
You will be working for a family owned real estate company in Calgary who are seeking an experienced Land Development Coordinator to join their team. Due to a growth, they need support on their development team. Within the next 3-5 years the business expects to have $1 billion worth of construction take place on land which they already own.
Your new role
You will report to and be mentored by the Director of Development. You will support with project coordination throughout the entire development lifecycle, including acquisitions, planning approvals, design, construction, and registration. Manage relationships with stakeholders including consultants, municipal staff, and city officials. Conduct financial analysis, tracks budgets and manages cash flow projections to ensure projects remain financially viable. Create and maintains master schedules and prepare documentation for meetings and approvals to keep projects on time and within scope
What you'll need to succeed
My client is looking for someone who has 2+ years experience in land development coordination. You will assist with all aspects of development (land, commercial, high-rise and low-rise residential and mixed-use) projects, including acquisitions, visioning, planning approvals, detailed design, subdivisions, and overall budgeting, scheduling, and financial reporting. The first year of the will be planning application/rezoning focused, dealing with municipal staff and other development companies.

This position has been earmarked for growth to a Development Manager position with a team being built under you, as the projects break ground/complete.
