Are you passionate about equity, inclusion, and the rights of workers? Do you thrive in collaborative environments where your ability to navigate complex labour relations is both valued and needed? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role:

We're partnering with a purpose-driven organization in Vancouver seeking an HR Labour Relations Coordinator to support a large and diverse workforce. This role will work closely with department leaders across multiple business units to provide guidance and support on collective agreements, performance management, workplace investigations, and more.

This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive, solutions-focused approach. You'll be a key liaison between managers and union representatives, ensuring the fair and consistent application of policies, legislation, and agreements. From drafting letters to leading investigations and facilitating training, you'll be a trusted resource and critical voice in promoting a healthy, respectful, and equitable workplace.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting people leaders with expert advice on collective agreements, employment legislation, and internal policies
  • Guiding and coaching managers through performance management and progressive discipline
  • Leading and/or supporting workplace investigations, including reviewing incidents, conducting interviews, and preparing detailed reports
  • Drafting documentation such as letters of expectation, warning, suspension, and termination
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Payroll and HR to ensure smooth resolution of labour issues
  • Tracking and managing cases using internal HR systems and tools (such as PowerApps and HRIS platforms)
  • Participating in process improvements and delivering training for people leaders on best practices in employee relations

What We're Looking For:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Unionized HR experience
  • Solid working knowledge of HRIS systems (UKG/UltiPro preferred), ticketing systems (e.g., FreshDesk), and shared file platforms (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Strong written communication and investigative report writing skills

At Humans of HR, we support the development and growth of our candidates to reach their full potential. If you are thinking about your next career move and the above role is just the right fit, please send us your resume along with a cover letter in confidence and one of our consultants will be in touch for a confidential discussion.
