Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support the preparation and reconciliation of financial data used in regulatory and internal reporting processes. This role requires strong Excel skills, a solid understanding of financial statements and regulatory concepts, and the ability to work effectively across teams in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and reconcile financial data, including mortgages, deposits, and other banking figures, to support regulatory and internal reporting.
- Use Excel extensively to organize, analyze, and validate large datasets, employing Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and standard formulas.
- Interpret and understand financial reporting, including income statements and bank balance sheets, to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Contribute to regulatory filings due by the end of September, ensuring compliance with all reporting standards.
- Work closely with peers and cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve data discrepancies.
- Support documentation efforts for audit readiness and regulatory transparency.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and standard formulas like VLOOKUP.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and financial statements.
- Ability to interpret data for regulatory reporting purposes.
- Familiarity with bank balance sheets and how data feeds into broader financial documents.
