Salary Range: $70,000–$85,000 CAD annually

THE NEW NIKE STARTS HERE

Brodie League is the fastest-growing adult sports brand in North America. With 35,000+ athletes across 20+ cities and 250,000+ followers, we're redefining what it means to compete — fusing pro-level media, custom jerseys, and cutting-edge interactive tools into one iconic experience.

We're not a tech company. We're a sports movement building a product — and the product must feel like a game.

If you're a builder — not just a designer — this is your shot. Join a team scaling fast, where your UI and interaction work won't just be seen… it'll be felt by thousands of players every day.

About the Role: Product Designer, Gamification & Player Experience

We're hiring a world-class Product Designer to lead the creation of Brodie 3.0 — an all-new, gamified player experience that rewards competition, loyalty, and swagged-out customization. From XP systems and badge unlocks to skins and team dashboards, you'll design the digital layer of our league like a game engine.

You'll work directly with the Directors of Design, Tech, and Operations to imagine, build, and polish Brodie's most important player-facing features across mobile and web. This role requires more than UI chops — it demands product thinking, systems design, and a gamer's sense of what feels good.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full UX/UI design lifecycle for XP, badge, and skin systems in Brodie 3.0
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to scope product needs and define intuitive user flows
  • Translate product vision into wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, and motion-rich prototypes
  • Animate transitions and game-like interactions using After Effects, Lottie, or similar tools
  • Partner closely with developers to ensure seamless, pixel-perfect implementation
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
  • Expand Brodie's evolving design system with accessibility, motion, and mobile standards

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of UX/UI design in a fast-paced product or agency setting
  • Portfolio that shows full product thinking, not just pretty screens
  • Strong Figma skills; bonus if you know After Effects, LottieFiles, or Principle
  • UX best practices pro with a feel for gamification, progression, and interaction
  • Some front-end familiarity (HTML/CSS) a plus
  • Strong communicator who thrives in tight feedback loops and iteration cycles
  • Bonus: experience designing for games, loyalty programs, or consumer apps with reward mechanics

Why Brodie?

  • Elite Benefits — Medical, dental, vision, physio, chiro, mental health
  • Play for Free — Brodie League registration included for full-time staff
  • Gear Drops — Access exclusive Brodie and Triples apparel
  • Ground Floor Role — Shape the digital face of one of the fastest-growing sports brands
  • Legacy Builders Only — We don't hire to maintain. We hire to grow — and win.
