Position Overview:

Elte is seeking an experienced and thoughtful finance leader to join its senior leadership team as Director of Finance. This individual will oversee all finance-related functions, including accounting, tax, legal, FP&A, treasury, and business reporting. Reporting directly to the COO, the Director will play a critical role in shaping the financial foundation of a company that has operated with patience, precision, and purpose for over a century.

The focus of this role is to elevate finance operations, modernize processes, and help guide the business into its next chapter, while preserving the values and culture that define Elte.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all core finance functions, including accounting, legal, tax filings, FP&A, treasury, and business reporting.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, delivering analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Build, mentor, and develop a junior team to improve processes and performance.
• Collaborate closely with external accounting partners.
• Introduce modern financial tools, systems, and reporting structures to support scalability.
• Lead the financial transformation by first understanding and operating within existing processes, then introducing change in alignment with the organization's pace and priorities — with strong support and partnership from the COO.
• Improve clarity, control, and structure across all areas of finance.

Education and Experience:

• CPA designation required.
• Proven experience leading finance teams through modernization or scaling.
• Strong problem solver with the ability to navigate complexity and lead hands-on.
• Clear, data-driven communicator who supports business decisions with insight.
• Track record of building financial processes and systems from the ground up.
• Comfortable working in a people-first culture, leading with both expertise and humility.
