About Canaan Site Furnishings

Canaan Site Furnishings is Canada's leading provider of public site furniture. Since 2006, we've partnered with architects, designers, and municipalities across North America to create functional, attractive outdoor environments. We're looking for an ambitious, goal-driven Outbound Sales Representative to join our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting

  • Make a high volume of outbound cold calls to targeted commercial prospects daily.
  • Send personalized outreach emails and follow-up messages to key decision-makers.
  • Identify and connect with new leads across industries such as municipal procurement, landscape architecture, education, and construction.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development

  • Research and map high-potential markets, accounts, and industry segments.
  • Qualify leads through structured discovery conversations and needs assessments.
  • Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline using CRM software.

Sales Execution

  • Book and conduct virtual or on-site meetings with prospective clients.
  • Present product offerings and value propositions tailored to each client's specific needs.
  • Drive the sales process from initial outreach to closing, with a focus on meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.

CRM Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Track key sales metrics including call volume, conversions, meetings booked, and revenue generated.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline progress and target achievement.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead lists and optimize campaign outreach.
  • Share client feedback to support product development and marketing strategies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing sales process improvements.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in outbound B2B sales.
  • Proven ability to engage, qualify, and close cold leads.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong research and prospecting abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Comfortable working independently in a structured, goal-oriented environment.

Education

  • University degree, college diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Assets

  • Background in market research or sales within the architecture, landscape, or design industry.
  • Experience in presenting to business clients via both virtual and in-person formats.
