Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and reliable Tall Cabinet Assembler to join our cabinet manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling tall cabinets, including base cabinets, tall pantry units, or storage towers. The assembler will ensure all components are put together with precision, using the proper tools and techniques, while maintaining the highest quality standards and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble tall cabinet units, including pantry cabinets, tall storage towers, base cabinets, and tall wall units.
  • Follow detailed assembly drawings, specifications, and work orders to ensure proper fit and functionality.
  • Use hand tools, power tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, impact drivers), and specialized machinery to complete assemblies.
  • Install doors, hardware, including hinges, slides, and drawer boxes, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
  • Ensure all components are securely fastened, square, and level.
  • Inspect parts and materials for defects, ensuring that assembled cabinets meet company quality standards.
  • Wrap in protective cardboard and shrinkwrap
  • Organize, label, and store finished products in preparation for shipment
  • Work efficiently and safely, following all safety protocols and keeping work areas clean.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school experience is a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience in cabinet assembly or similar woodworking/assembly roles.
  • Experience with assembling large or tall cabinet structures is preferred.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, saws, impact drivers).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (e.g., bending, lifting, reaching) for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:
  • Cabinet production shop or workshop.
  • Exposure to wood dust, adhesives, and power tools (PPE provided).
  • Physical labor, including lifting, standing, and manual handling.
  • Fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines.

Hours of Work:
  • Standard workweek is Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
  • On-site role.
