Position: Class 1 Truck Driver Pup Gravel Hauling

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team for pup gravel hauling operations. This role involves hauling aggregate materials to and from job sites using a tandem and pup trailer setup. Candidates must be safety-conscious, reliable, and capable of operating heavy-duty vehicles in a variety of work environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 truck with pup trailer to haul gravel and other aggregates
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Safely load and unload materials at designated sites
• Adhere to company and industry safety protocols and regulations
• Complete and maintain accurate driver logs and paperwork
• Communicate with dispatch and site supervisors to coordinate loads

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Drivers License with clean drivers abstract
• Strong understanding of weight distribution, trailer operation, and load securement
• Ability to work independently and handle a physically demanding role
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Knowledge of local and provincial transportation regulations
