Reporting into CDW's services-focused Modern Workspace team while integrating closely with CDW's Partner and Product Management Team, the Qualcomm Technology Sr. Consultant will serve as an evangelist, educating clients about the increasing demand for AI PCs, particularly highlighting Qualcomm's AI capabilities.

Our vision extends beyond leveraging current traditional marketing and sales-based roles, but to expand into deeper technical expertise. We aim to strengthen our collaboration and business outcomes with Qualcomm by developing a new role focused on technical education, enablement, and pre-sales demonstration opportunities.

This role will require joint training by Qualcomm and CDW to ensure a high level of expertise in Qualcomm platforms, technical enablement, and product knowledge. The role's success will hinge on involvement in pre-sales activities and collaborative sales pipeline discussions.

Our objective is to become the premier integrator of Qualcomm technologies within the Canadian business market, helping clients maximize their investments in the Qualcomm ecosystem.

What you'll do:

  • Platform planning, and roadmap development based on industry trending and product announcement, as well as incorporating and exploring related showcases.
  • Pre-sales and client showcase support as required.
  • Support discovery and assessment of Qualcomm Technologies and Platforms, such as Qualcomm Processors, Qualcomm AI PC, as well as Qualcomm ARM architecture
  • Deliver functional showcases and product prototypes and based on outlined project and use case objectives.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with various Qualcomm and CDW stakeholders to support Qualcomm sales and adoption efforts
  • Support technical and service sales product management documentation to support development of new service offerings
  • Support the Managed Modern Workspace Practice in product development and design of new technologies and end-user experiences.
  • Key involvement in systems and capabilities review as they relate to new Qualcomm endpoint service offerings
  • Strong participation in ongoing technology and platform education, attending development events such as Qualcomm Partner and Industry events, up to 20% of role will require travel as needed

What we expect of you:

  • Ability to assess, deliver, summarize and architect complex IT business solutions entailing multiple technologies
  • Windows 10/11 imaging and packaging technologies
  • Knowledge of MS Intune/MS MECM/SCCM
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience with at least 3-5 years of experience as a Windows Administrator or equivalent
  • Solid infrastructure/AD/Networking/Security knowledge
  • Effective communication and listening skills (written/verbal/presentation)
  • Solid M365 skills to create/modify professional client facing documents, as well as documentation
  • Bi-lingual an asset but not required
  • Attention to detail and quality while maintaining a high degree of productivity
  • Pre-sales support and customer client facing
  • Work effectively within a fast-paced, complex environment with a demanding work schedule
  • Strong organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective at managing multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meeting deadlines and working well under pressure, along with proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

Pay range: $ 62,000- $ 105,000, depending on experience and skill set
