Role: Java Developer

Location: Toronto

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable geospatial solutions.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in the application.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in geospatial development.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement best practices for code management and version control.
• Ensure that all solutions are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualification:

• Must have strong experience in Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot.
• Should have a deep understanding of geospatial data and applications.
• Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Should have experience with code reviews and providing feedback.
• Must be familiar with the full software development lifecycle.
• Should have the ability to work in a hybrid model
