Position: Manager of Corporate Programs and Projects

Type: 1 Full-Time Permanent Position

Designation: Hybrid

About CAPR:

The Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR) provides standardized entry-to-practice assessments on behalf of Canadian provincial and territorial physiotherapy regulators. CAPR reviews the educational credentials of individuals trained outside of Canada to determine whether their education is substantially different from that of Canadian educated physiotherapists. CAPR administers the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) to assess an individual's readiness for safe, effective, and independent physiotherapy practice.

The Position:

The Manager of Corporate Programs and Projects position is critically important to CAPR, as you will manage a diverse portfolio of responsibilities essential to the efficient operation of our organization. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of corporate programs aligned with best practices and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and provide strategic insights to improve program effectiveness.

The Compensation Package Includes:

  • $80, 000 to $100,000 depending on experience

Your Responsibilities:

Policy – Administration, Governance, and Evaluation Services

  • Undertake policy and issues analysis and implement complex policies and procedures, including record retention.

Enterprise Risk Management

  • Continuously monitor for emerging risks, assess the adequacy and effectiveness of mitigation actions and report to leadership and the Board.

Corporate Performance

  • Lead the semi-annual evaluation of results in collaboration with leaders, identifying improvement plans, and reporting to leadership and the Board and committees.

Privacy

  • As a subject matter expert, support the Privacy Officer and leadership team to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, reporting, monitoring, and responding to potential or actual breaches.

Projects

  • Lead organizational projects, including development and implementation of operational processes).

What Makes You the Ideal Candidate?

  • University degree in Healthcare Management or business-related field.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in policy, program oversight, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and develop clear, actionable standards.
  • Strong project management skills, leading teams through change, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, complex workflows, and deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, PowerPoint).
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a keen eye for detail.
