We are looking for a skilled Electrical Development Engineer to join our team in Calgary, contributing to the design and development of advanced energy solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and optimizing electrical systems that support cutting-edge energy technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Design and develop electrical systems for energy applications, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.

• System Integration: Integrate energy systems into remote power solutions.

• Testing & Validation: Conduct performance testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical components.

• Technical Support: Support the sales team by providing technical expertise, including customer interaction and strategic project planning.

• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs meet applicable electrical codes (CSA, UL, etc.).

• Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with manufacturers and sub-vendors for technical and commercial requirements.

• Technical Guidance: Offer expert input on installation, configuration, and operation of energy solutions.

• Collaboration: Work with marketing to update technical documentation and promotional materials.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5 years in electrical design, product development, or energy systems.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar electrical design tools.

• Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of power electronics, battery systems, and energy storage technologies.

• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and enhance system performance.

• French-speaking candidates would be an asset.
