Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable In-House Contractor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a wide range of construction, renovation, and general contracting tasks across multiple job sites. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards and supporting project timelines from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general construction and renovation tasks, including framing, drywall, flooring, tiling, painting, and finish carpentry

• Conduct minor plumbing and electrical work within allowable scope (as per code)

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans

• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet deadlines

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on-site

• Track materials used and report any additional requirements

• Ensure all work meets PillarPoint Group's quality and safety standards

• Assist in site inspections, punch lists, and final walk-throughs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction or renovation

• Strong multi-trade skills (e.g., carpentry, drywall, tiling, painting, etc.)

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites

• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and health & safety regulations

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver's license
