● Translate event plans (developed in collaboration with the Project Manager) into
actionable on-site execution across layout, signage, security, and
merchandising.

● Oversee temporary retail buildouts including zone planning, BOH setup, cash
desk layout, and signage deployment.
● Ensure all health & safety, insurance, and compliance standards are followed at
every event.
● Direct inventory intake, stockroom organization, on-site stock movement, and

Leads while on-site.
● Lead on-site teams with professionalism, clarity, and accountability, setting
expectations and resolving issues in real-time.
● Support staffing coordinator in managing schedules, break coverage, and
customer service deployment.
● Ensure team members are briefed, trained, and empowered to represent brand
and company expectations.
● Partner with the Project Manager to align timelines, assign resources, and ensure
all teams are executing against defined goals.
● Maintain open communication with internal departments (Marketing, Customer
Service) and external partners (venues, vendors, clients).
● Participate in post-event debriefs and provide operational insights to support
continuous improvement.
● Ensure that the operating budget is maintained and that all event expenses are
managed accurately.
Skills/ Knowledge
● Confident leader who thrives in physically demanding, fast-moving settings.
● Exceptional communication and people management skills across all levels of
staff.

inventory flow, stockroom management, and shrink reduction.
● Ability to multitask across multiple event priorities while remaining calm and
solutions-focused under pressure.
● Proficient in Asana (or similar), Excel, Google Suite, and budget tracking.
Experience/Education
● 5+ years in retail operations, event production, or physical store setup roles.

● Proven experience in high-volume retail such as department stores, big box,
outlet, or seasonal environments.
● Strong background in inventory control, stock-taking procedures, seasonal retail
transitions, and merchandising leadership.
● Prior experience supervising temporary staff, leading teams, and overseeing full
physical retail transformations.
Requirements
● Must be able to travel frequently across Canada and the USA (passport
required).
● Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as event timelines
require.
