Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager with a proven track record managing ICI construction projects valued between $5 million and $50 million+. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience leading full project lifecycles, from pre-construction through closeout, and will bring strong organizational and leadership capabilities. Experience in interior fit-outs or hospital renovations is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects from award to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
- Collaborate with site superintendents, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to execute projects effectively.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and risk management strategies.
- Lead internal and external project meetings and ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Review and interpret contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Oversee change order management, progress billings, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in ICI construction.
- Proven success managing projects in the $5M–$50M+ range.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code, construction contracts, and procurement practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g. Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).
- PMP certification or post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field is an asset.
- Experience with healthcare or institutional projects is ideal.
